PB079 - 18" Doll At The Hop Crochet Pattern
Hop back into the 1950’s with this swingin’ doll outfit! From the poodle skirt and the retro blouses to the bobby socks and two-toned oxfords, this getup screams 1950’s. The poodle skirt is kept full by a simple petticoat. The headband and belt are included in the pattern too. You can also decorate the poodle skirt with three different appliqués, a poodle, a Scottish terrier, or a telephone. This ensemble will make your doll look like she stepped right out from the 1950’s!
The crochet pattern for this 18" doll would also fit the 18" American Girl Doll.

Size: To fit 18" Girl Doll
Materials: Crochet Cotton Thread Size 10:
Red or Pink - 600 yd; White - 800 yd; Black - 100 yd.
Small amount Blue (for Poodle & Scottie's Eye)
Light Worsted Weight Yarn :
White - 2 oz, 145 yds (56 g, 130 m)
(Red Heart Classic Crochet Thread and Bernat Softee Baby used in model.)
Additional Materials:
White ½" Buttons - 9 (5 for Sweater; 4 for Blouse)
Red or White ½" Button - 1 (for Skirt)
6" Ponytail Holder (or 6.5" elastic sewn to form ring)
⅛" White Satin Ribbon - 63" long (45" for Petticoat and 18" for Headband).
Yarn and Thread Needles
Crochet Hooks:
Sizes C-2 (2.75 mm) (for double strand thread);
Sizes F-5 (3.75 mm) and G-6 (4.25 mm) - for yarn;
Steel #1 (2.75 mm) and #3 (2.10 mm).
Gauge:
Using 2 strands thread and smaller hook (C-2):
5 dc = 1"; 2 dc rows = 1"
