Item details

“Keeping pace with the seasons, woolly styles are now acquiring a fresh appearance in open work patterns and simple square necklines. The little model shown here has a pert knot placed at the left corner of the collar, and a ribbed Basque, cuffs and yoke; while the pattern of openwork alternates with solid squares, to form a chess board design. The navy felt hat, by Scotts of Bond Street, is trimmed with two massive military cords of scarlet, twined through an ornament of carved ivory”

I love this beautiful and delicate sweater, and although the size is to fit 33-34 bust the openwork stitch will give.. or you can re-size the pattern ..

Materials required:
5 ozs Jaeger “Feather Fleck" 3-ply.
1 pair each No.10 and No. 7 Knitting Needles. ( Conversion chart will be sent free)

This is a re-written pattern from an old crumbling magazine from 1935 .. now in a new clear easy to read and follow version.

I will send the pattern to you as a pdf instant download pattern
