Set of two solid bronze cable needles 2 3/4 (7.2 cm) and 2" (4.8 cm) long
I remember on a long overseas flight to Tokyo, the stewardess saw I was knitting a cabled scarf and sat down on the seat arm to watch. She was very impressed with the intricate twisting pattern of the cabling - that was, until she saw me actually do it.
"That's it?" she said. "That's all it takes?" She immediately picked up my needles, made a couple of cables, and set out for a future of Aran sweaters and fancy socks.
The secret is out. Making cables is not hard. I won't go into it here. There are wonderful books and videos online to show you how, but the truth is you will have cables from your head to your toes once you learn! Making those cables will be extra luxurious with these solid bronze cable needles.
You will receive two sizes, to cover all your knitting needs.
Crafted of bronze clay, they are hand formed, then kiln fired to produce a pair of sold metal needles. Then they are meticulously polished to ensure no rough surfaces, so they will glide like silk through your wool.
Step up your crafting experience, or give the perfect gift to your favorite knitter. I can guarantee he or she will be thrilled!

Shipping & policies
I ship worldwide. Generally items are sent USPS First Class or Priority with insurance to the US, Australia, Canada, and European Union. To other countries I ship flat rate Priority Mail International envelope. If you need Express delivery, please convo me and I will do my best to accommodate you; you will receive a Paypal invoice for the additional postage.
I do my best to calculate accurate costs, but it can be hard. Please know that my policy is to adjust downwards the shipping cost when I can. "Additional items" sometimes require their own boxes, or are heavy, which can push costs up. I will do my best to be fair to you.
For some international deliveries I may discuss best shipping practices before shipping, and reserve the right to require insurance and/or a signature in certain cases if I think it safest. Also, please be aware of your country's custom regulations, as in some instances you may be responsible for duty charges. I mark packages accurately as to their contents and value.
I will send to your Etsy account address unless I get a convo at the time of purchase giving me other instructions.
I accept Paypal for payment, and credit cards through the Etsu Checkout system.
Sales within Texas are charged 8.25% sales tax.
Returns & exchanges
I will of course accept returns on in stock items, but please choose carefully and thoughtfully. Since all my pieces are one of a kind - when they are not in the shop they are being missed by other Etsy shoppers. I would appreciate being notified within five days of your intent to return, and receive the item back within two weeks after your receipt of it.
I welcome custom orders! I do quite a bit of custom work, and have found it to be a lot of fun. If you see something that is almost but not quite what you need, contact me. Or if you just think of something you want and looking at my work makes you think I can make it, contact me about that too! Those are usually the best ; )
