You have probably never seen these sold by the strand. Anywhere. (But if you have, please let me know!) Lutong, or lu-tong, or lulu-tong (etc.), or (for some reason) jujube, are the names given to any hollow bead with this design of stars and holes -- usually wood or bone. About 12-13mm wide, made of date wood or some other tropical softwood. These have a light brown finish and a waxy feel.
Amazingly light, these beads can be used for malas of 54 and 108 beads with no special string or double stringing. I can provide matching spacers and guru beads -- please convo.
