Item details

“Where shall we adventure, today that we’re afloat…….. to Providence, or Babylon or off to Malabar?

Reinterpretation of a 1930s pattern combining freestyle machine embroidery, applique and handstitching.

If you’re not confident with free-style machine embroidery, then stitch the whole ship by hand
instead… it will look just as lovely! Then add this verse from the poem by RL Stevenson - provided within the pattern for you to print onto fabric yourself. The finished picture is shown mounted on 40 cm square artist’s canvas block.

Please note, this is an electronic product and you will not receive anything in the post. You will receive your pattern as a pdf file as soon as payment has been processed.
