In this lesson I will teach you how to make a unique and extremely versatile woven wrap for a donut bead. The instructions show a very basic version of the pendant, however there is no end to the ways to alter this design.

Step by step images and instructions in this lesson are for the base design only (first photo above). This version of this lesson also gives tips for making the variations shown in the other photos.

Skill Level:
Advanced

Materials:

•8 feet 28g (2.5 meters) round dead soft wire
•28 inches (71cm) 20g round dead soft or half hard wire
•1 45mm Donut Bead
•3 bead dangles (see free tutorial “Briolettes and Bead Clusters” for instructions to make them yourself or use other types of dangles or charms. **Link to this free lesson is provided in the tutorial)

Tools:

•Chain nose pliers
•Round nose pliers
•Wire cutters
•Flat nose pliers
•Ruler
•Marker
•4mm Mandrel or Stepped Round Nose Pliers (if not available you can find other objects such as a pen, crochet hook, paintbrush handle or a screw driver shaft that will work instead)
