File delivery
Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed. Here's how.

We accept most forms of online payment including credit card, gift card and Paypal. If you wish to pay another way, please feel free to ask us for help. We no longer accept payment through money order or check.

Returns & exchanges

There are no returns on digital or paper patterns so please read the item description carefully before purchase.
We do not offer refunds for the following reasons:
If a customer didn't read the item description and wasn't sure what type of pattern was purchased. Customers are responsible for reading and making sure they understand the item being sold before purchase.
We do not offer refunds because a pattern is beyond a customer's skill level. If you're not sure how hard a pattern is, please feel free to ask us - we're happy to advise.

Exceptions: You are of course entitled to a full refund if you have purchased a duplicate pattern, or in the case of buying the wrong size, exchanges are always just fine.

Additional policies

If you have any questions about printing:
Please feel free to email us, we'd be happy to help. (
We get about 100 emails a day so please don't be upset if we can't get to your questions right away. We try to answer all downloading and printing questions right away.

Please note that the purchase of a sewing pattern from Mrs. Depew Vintage entitles you to the following:
- a great sewing pattern that may not be available anywhere else.
- a prompt reply if you have trouble downloading or printing your pattern (digital orders).

Sadly, this does not include a sewing questions help line. If it did, we would have to hire an extra employee and an intern or two. These things would cost quite a bit of money and the cost of patterns would go up, and that would make everyone very sad. If you have a sewing question, there's a chance that we won't be able to get to it. As much as we would like to help every customer with their sewing questions, there just aren't enough hours in the day. That said, you're still very welcome to write in with your sewing questions. We don't mind and when we have a free moment, we try to help if we can. But if you don't get a timely response, please don't take it personally, there just aren't enough hours in the day and Mrs. Depew will crash and burn if she skips any more meals to try answer just one more email...
