U.S. customers, I ship First Class Mail unless you purchase an upgrade which would be Priority Mail. I will provide you with a tracking number. A shipping email notification is sent upon sending the package. If you're buying fabric, I ship Priority Mail.
International (non-U.S.) customers: I ship USPS First Class International Mail. USPS has added Electronic Delivery Confirmation to select countries for First Class International and Priority Mail International Service. A shipping email notification is sent to the buyer upon shipping. Occasionally, when shipping items internationally, an item will get flagged by the receiving country's Customs Department. I have no control over this and I am not responsible for extra charges incurred due to such flagging. This is the responsibility of the buyer. Price advertised in my shop DOES NOT include duty or VAT. If charges are incurred, you will be expected to pay this once the shipment arrives.
All international orders will have full value declared on customs forms, and will be marked as "merchandise" - no exceptions.
International shipping time varies greatly. International customers, please allow up to five weeks for arrival of package although packages often arrive within one to two weeks.
I accept credit cards via etsy's direct payment system or PayPal payment.
New York State residents will be charged sales tax.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you feel the need to exchange or return, please do so within 10 days.
If you receive your product and are dissatisfied with the fit (hey -- it happens!) or anything else please, instead of leaving a review of three stars or less, contact me and tell me. I will be more than happy to make you a new one. I want you to be a satisfied customer.
Can I pick a different color for the inside? Yes! I offer it as an option in the drop down menus. You can look at the last photo to see the fabrics I offer. I use the word "lining" sometimes when referring to the inside fabric choice
My laptop/device is not listed in the size options. Can I still order from you? Yes. Just leave me a message in "notes to seller" at check out with exact dimensions (length x width x depth) of your laptop.
When will my order ship? All orders are currently shipping within 3-6 business days.
How long does shipping take? First Class (standard) shipping takes anywhere from 2-10 business days for the U.S. and 10-14 or more depending on customs business days internationally.
Priority shipping takes 1-3 Business days within the U.S. and 6-10 internationally. Closer to Christmas we recommend selecting priority shipping for faster delivery!
Will I have to pay customs or duty if I buy from you? Fernfiddlehead is not responsible nor can I be held liable for any charges or delays due to your country's customs/duty/VAT. Please see my shipping policies for more on this topic.
Where will this ship from? I ship all orders from New York State
How do I order multiple items? To order more than one item please add each item to your cart and checkout with them them together. This will combine shipping.
