Handmade Resin Molds - Vintage Style Ice Cream Cone

I love this piece. It looks to me just like a cone on a sign from one of those old ice cream parlors. This piece is textured and made to look old. The third photo is of a piece of jewelry I made using my first mold of this piece about a year ago. I painted it to look like an aged cherry dipped cone. Just so you can see..

It measures approximately 82 x 39 mm (3.2 x 1.5 inches).

They have all been resin tested before I offer them for sale and only sell what I would use myself. They are made from the same style plastic as offered by the major brands, and in some cases even thicker than, for easy release of resin.

Due to their handmade nature, no two molds are ever exactly the same. During the molding process, some small airpockets, what look like “watermarks” and/or bubbling in the plastic that may occur that may create a slight texture difference on your pieces. Nothing that can't be hidden with a little glazing which most resin artists do anyway. I do my best to eliminate these as much as possible. Again, if I wouldn’t use it myself – I won’t ship it.

Great for:
Resin
Polymer Clay (as a push mold using a release agent)
Plaster
Candle Wax
Soaps
PMC
Resin Clay

Do not put in the oven.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
Unfortunately USPS shipping prices went up tremendously on 1/27/2013. Without some sort of graduated table rate based on weight, it was very hard to apply a shipping structure. Any overage in shipping over $1.50 will be refunded to you.

FAQs

Each individual mold is handmade by me. All my mold designs have been tested by me before I offer them for sale and only sell what I would personally use myself. I do my best to eliminate these as much as possible but flatter pieces are more prone to it.

The plastic can be scratched. You don't want to place anything sharp inside the molding surface. To clean, use a very soft cloth and light touch.

The plastic molds are made with food grade plastic and are food safe. They are not, however, oven safe. Do not plastic in a microwave, oven, or dishwasher. You can, however, pour things like melted chocolate or melted sugar into the molding surface. Just wait until the liquid has cooled before removing from the mold so the plastic has a chance to cool too.
