This lovely counted cross stitch pattern would make the perfect gift for stitchers and readers alike. Better yet, find someone who loves needlework AND books. The pattern features a set of classic novels. In order from left to right, these are:
- Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert - Great Expectations by Charles Dickens - Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë - Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen - Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell - Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy - Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
This pattern is in pdf format and includes instructions, key, and symbol chart for 85 colors of DMC threads. When stitched on 18-count Aida, it will be about 12.7" x 9.8".
NOTE: This listing is for a pdf of the pattern.
Credit for the photos of the finished product (and the stitching!) goes to McKenzie Eskdale.

Working hard on this pattern! It's clear and SO well-written. Haven't cross-stitched since I was a child, but was able to pick it up again immediately. Thank you!

A note on image licensing/copyrights: All of the images I've used in my patterns were licensed legally by the original owner, are in the public domain, or came from websites that have no licensing restrictions. If you are the owner of one of the images and you believe that it was NOT licensed properly, PLEASE contact me and let me know, and I will take it down. I do not want to steal anyone's artwork! I am no longer using many of these so-called "free" image sites because I've found out they're giving out pirated artwork, and I definitely appreciate Etsy users who help keep me informed :)
