Item details

This wire jewelry tutorial teaches you how to trap a cabochon in a woven frame with graceful swirls to dance across the front and back of the pendant. The lesson teaches you a basic version of this style of pendant. However, with a little imagination, you can use the techniques taught here to create many different variations of this design.

This lesson calls for a cabochon, though you can also substitute a similar size bead for the cab instead. Keep in mind that if you do use a bead instead of a cab, you will need to make the frame wide enough to accommodate the thickness of the bead.

These instructions teach you how to make the first two pendants pictured above. The other pendants are all variations of the same design and are shown to give you ideas of how you can alter your own pendants.
