This exquisite zigzag shell and lace blanket is perfect for a new baby. The pattern looks complicated but is actually just a series of 3 panels of zigzag shells attached with a lace design and then a simple border to complement. This is perfect for anyone wanting to make a traditional style blanket but without the frills.
The blanket is worked in soft 4ply baby wool and is a great size to use as a wrap or shawl or a pram cover. This would make a wonderful gift for a newborn or perfect as part of a christening outfit. The finished blanket measures 90cm by 90cm.
You will need approximately 300g of baby soft 4ply wool, a 2 and 2.5mm crochet hook to make the blanket.
PLEASE NOTE: The pattern is in UK crochet terms including a US conversion chart, key, material section and HanJan offers and discount codes.

Beautiful pattern that is really simple and quick to work up but looks very intricate. Thank you

I bought this pattern so someone can crochet it for me and this is their review. they did not buy it themselves, so they didn't read where the designer put it in the etsy add. This is based on the pattern that was emailed to her and how she saw it from the pattern PDF only :
"There was an error, and that it didn't specify anywhere in the pattern itself that it was written in UK terms. At the end there was a small conversion chart but I didn't scroll to the end to see it myself. As a result many hours were wasted trying to find it the correct way the pattern should have been and crocheting it in the wrong terms as it was not clearly stated that it was written in UK terms. I will never be doing one of her patterns again."

Easy pattern to follow except there is a mistake in row 2. 2 ch is missing for the last few stitches.
