A simple cross stitch pattern to make your own retro 1950s-style pillow cover. Finished piece will be 16 x 16 inches, based on 7 stitches per inch rather than the usual 14 (although you still use 14-count Aida cloth, but each x covers two threads). Plus, there are only two colors in the design which makes it ideal for beginners as it's quick and easy.
Upon receipt of payment the following will be available for instant download: - Image of the stitches (like the one above), and the image translated into colour squares - Black and white symbols chart - Symbols over color chart - List of DMC cotton thread colours, and approximately how much you need - Photo of the finished pillow cover.
The pattern is in PDF format so you will need a PDF reader to open it. Adobe’s free reader can be downloaded at: http://get.adobe.com/reader/
Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed. Here's how.
Payment is due at time of sale. I only accept Paypal, which is safe, secure and easy to use.
Even if you don’t have a Paypal account you can still use a credit card via Paypal, which allows for debit and credit card payments. To pay with a credit card choose the Paypal option and then "Continue Without a Paypal Account" link on the new Paypal page.
