Build or enhance your color palette using your favorite colors-and get a few samples to play and blend with too!

You'll get one ounce of white Corrie Cross wool with 3 free samples of blended of fibers (limit of 12), varying in texture, color, type for your fiber project. If you find something you would like more of, send us a pic of the sample--it's likely we can make you more of just that blend. We draft the remnants of spinning and carding for your samples and these are really pretty fibers!

Some of the ways that you can use these samples are:
--supplement your existing fiber supply with just the color you need/want.
--Expand your library of color, texture without having to make a large investment in full sized fiber batts and roving
--discover new color combinations! (Seriously.. some of our favorite batts have been inspired by
the process of preparing these little morsels!)
--embellish your needle or wet felting endeavors
--combine them with any of our other kits to expand your color, texture possibilities

*Our products are photographed in varying lights in an effort to provide as much color info as possible. Please keep in mind that all monitors display color differently.

The ability to customize, personalize orders is the number one reason we work mostly on a "made to order" basis. We want you to have everything just as you need/want it! We understand that this makes our shipping times slower, but we hope you will agree that we are worth the wait :)

It's a long, convoluted answer having to do with the fact that we offer variations of weight in our batts and other items. We pay the extra shipping on larger batts, but we have no way of setting the shipping lower on the sample sizes, so we have to meet somewhere in the middle --which is often WAY too much if you are ordering a quantity of sample batts. And yes. We can fix it, just message us. Or.. check out and leave us a note reminding us to refund your excess shipping. Either way, we understand. We hate overpaying for shipping too :D

If we forgot them, of course we will :D But first... take a peek on the side of the foam. 99.99% of the time, they are there, just overlooked.

We dye a very large proportion (60-75%!!) of our wool, Firestar and Silk. We're really proud of the number of colors we offer-- and we only have plans to do more. We do this because it the work we love to do, it's one of many things that we think make our work worthwhile, special. Additionally, we do not want our batts sitting in inventory, compacting from lack of use. And then... what if you want to customize the batt? We do that too :D We make our batts to order because we make them for you— and we make a LOT of them, so there is usually a line when you order as well. We think they are worth the wait and hope that you will too. Naturally, if you need something faster, let us know. We work magic, that's what we do :D
