50 grams (1.76 oz) of Astra 5/2 mercerized cotton in deep blue called Nassau from a company based in the US. Great for crochet, cardweaving, tatting, kumihimo, lucet, and so much more! There are approximately 212 m (232 yds) in a center-pull ball. 5/2 cotton (2100 ypp) is similar to #10 crochet cotton (2800 ypp) but is slightly thicker. Color number 23. Dye lot # 22542-02.
Colors can vary greatly from monitor to monitor. Please request a free sample before ordering if you are unsure about color or thickness.
Beautiful color, so true blue and the reverse color looks like it twinkles. Just perfect for a scarf I'm making.
Shipping was a little sluggish, but perhaps not from overseas.
Thank you for a quality product.

This is a beautiful deep blue that reflects a lot of light! The inkle band woven with this thread is radiant!

Really beautiful stuff and fast shipping. Great transaction!
Items will be shipped within 3 business days after receipt of payment. All shipping is via US Postal Service. Items under 13 oz are shipped first class post with delivery confirmation. Packages over 13 oz are shipped parcel post within the US, but still qualify for first class international. Items over $50 will be insured. If you prefer a different carrier, please contact me.
Pennsylvania's new tax law: All items shipped from PA must charge PA tax (Point of Origin sales tax). At present, there is no tax on food, shelter or clothing. Yarn is considered a raw material for making clothing. Therefore no sales tax. Books and tools are taxable and have the tax included in the price.
Returns & exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Additional return information
Please contact me within 14 days if the item does not meet your expectations. This includes shipping damage. Because I guarantee items to be from a smoke free/pet free environment, it makes it hard to accept returns. If you are unsatisfied, convo me to work something out. I value your business and want to make sure you get the right product for your needs.
International orders: In order to keep costs low, most items are shipped first class international. Typically that means shipping takes a week or less to Canada, two weeks to Europe and three weeks to Australia. However, the US Postal service has no way to track it once it leaves US soil. Other airports are notoriously bad at logging the information into the database. If an item fails to reach you in 30 days, you have a choice of replacement or refund. And please don't be shy about letting me know if you are worried about a lost package.
If you need an item sooner, convo me to arrange Priority International, which does have tracking and will arrive much sooner for an additional price. Price is dependent on how heavy your order is. Convo me to get a quote and arrange it.
