This is a digital file
This delightful Australian dragon is provided as a PDF file formatted to print as a small booklet and is chock full with 3 diagrammes, written instructions, 15 photos and explanations that should see you through the project in no time. As with all my patterns, it has been joyfully test tatted by Queensland Tatters, and a few overseas visitors, to improve the accuracy and communication. All errors, of course, remain mine! Should you have any queries or suggestions for improvement, please do not hesitate to contact me.
An intermediate pattern when done in a single pass, the frilled lizard requires split rings, twisted picots, and inverted chains. He would make a striking embellishment to a bag, wall hanging, special outfit, or is sturdy enough to use as is for what ever you desire. It requires thread of your choice, two shuttles and a crochet hook to complete.
Australia's Frilly Lizard is one of several species of real dragons indigenous to the continent. The Frilled Dragon lives in the Outback regions and his colouring suits his environment, and can vary from oranges, yellows and reds seen in this version through to more drab browns and blacks. He is known to hide in trees and rocks and live on insects and small animals.
