Item details

Another of my original designs, this is styled after an authentic outfit of the Jane Austen Regency Era.

PDF Pattern includes:

Printer guide for accurate sizing
General description and sewing guide
Pattern pieces
Fabric and notions guide
Complete illustrated sewing instructions

Prints on standard size office paper
Some pieces may need to be joined before cutting fabric. All pieces are clearly marked.
Size to an AG doll measuring 11" at the chest and 10 3/8 " at the waist.

The pattern includes 2 dress designs, both with empire waist styling. One dress has a front gathered bodice and gathered dress skirt around the entire waistline. The second dress has no gathers on the bodice or front of the dress skirt, but gathers border the bodice back along the waistline. Both dresses have elbow length sleeves as it is a summer outfit. The bodice is fully lined and the dress closes at the center back with hook and loop fastener.

The sleeveless frock has shoulder straps that connect to the waistband and just below the shoulders in the back to the back bodice. The neckline is rounded on the bodice piece. The frock skirt is slightly gathered and sewn to the bottom of the waistband. The frock closes in the front with a piece of hook and loop fastener and is decorated with 2 small buttons at the closure. The frock bodice and waistband are fully lined.

The dress and frock are best made using lightweight summer fabrics like cotton.

This pattern is compatible with my other Regency patterns. Many of the pieces are interchangeable, so you can mix and match most of the sleeves, bodices, and skirts.

The pdf pattern prints on 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper.

This is a nice pattern, I had a little trouble with it at first, but once I set it aside and then looked on it with new eyes, it came right together. So, the problem was, most likely with me and not the pattern.
