Karen Kahle's Marbleized Wool Book will teach you to create beautiful wool using only the dyes in the wool itself. A revolutionary method that uses no dyes, Karen developed and perfected this dye technique for wool almost 15 years ago. Karen named it marbleizing as it looks similar to marbled paper, but it is not a marbling technique. It is quite different! A fun and easy method, perfect for beginners and experienced dyers alike.
Part of the Primitive Spirit's self published Little Book Series, The Marbleized Wool Book takes you through each step of the dye process with full color photos, and includes ideas for combining colors to get some of Karen's favorite colors.
The last photo is a stack of marbleized wool in the red colorway. Beautiful marbleized wool can be used for rug hooking, penny rugs, wool applique, and other sewing projects such as bags, pillows, and clothing. Since the wool is felted, marbleized wool is easy to sew with, requiring no edge finish.
