This is a staple of every serious pianist. 171 pages of fugues and preludes packed with technical challenges and theory lessons. This is Book 2 and is in unused condition. Copyright date is 1925.
It has been signed by prominent New York University professor and teacher to many of the best jazz artists and arrangers of the 40’s – 60’s, Sam Saxe. He taught George Wein, Dick Whittington, Bill Haley and many more.
The spine is firm with a slight corner bumps, very light edge wear. No writing inside, no tears, no creases. The back cover does have a large stain but the music is not affected. In excellent to very good condition. Edited by Edwin Hughes for the Schirmer’s Library of Musical Classics. Vol.1484, Book 2. Fantastic music, tons of music, solos, recital, contest pieces and study.

Shipping & policies
Shipping costs may be reduced by combining items or selecting another shipping method.
The default option is media mail 2-8 days.
If you prefer I can ship first class, or any other method you select at checkout. Insurance can be provided at you expense if you desire. Shipping costs of 3 dollars per item are added to your purchase price. If you purchase multiple items I will waive 1 shipping fee for every three items purchased. I regret that I recently had to raise my shipping fee, due to moving much farther from the local post office, but I still try to get it into the post office the next day.
Shipping fees are a pain, but it requires a good deal more time than you might expect, not to mention envelopes, sleeves, taping and cutting cardboard to keep your purchase safe through transport. I recycle cardboard so I have to cut it by hand which is laborious but I like the stiffness of cardboard boxes as opposed to the flimsy stuff you might usually see.
You may also pay by personal check (will hold merchandise until check has cleared my account, approx 1 wk after receipt) or money order (ships in 1-3 days).
Any taxes will be added to your purchase price. I must receive payment within 2 weeks or the transaction may be cancelled.
