Anteater Aardvark Large Instant Download Stuffed Animal Pattern for you to Sew Anteater Large Stuffed Animal Pattern to Sew
This is a digital file
Anteater/Aardvark Stuffed Animal Pattern is now INSTANT DOWNLOAD! This is a large file, so be sure you receive it all! This is for the Sewing Pattern, not the finished product!
The Aardvark is a very Unique Animal. Living in Sub Saharan Africa, in grasslands, savannahs, woodlands and bush lands, where ants and termites are plentiful! The Aardvark also looks for Aardvard Cucumbers to eat, and loves those too! These guys weigh anywhere from 88 pounds to 140 pounds and measure from 3 feet long up to 7 feet long depending on if you measure the tail.
Our Aardvark is much lighter in weight, but is about 30 inches long, counting the tail! The fabric to make this Aardvark is readily available at fabric stores as well as online. There are several different pieces to this pattern, some sewing experience might be helpful!
Do not use this pattern for a first time sewer! There are areas of gussets, paw pads, jointing of legs, that you might not understand! This is more for an intermediate sewer.
This is a Full Size Pattern, which means the pattern has been adjusted to fit 8 1/2" by 11" printer paper, so there are body pieces that will have to be 'taped' together to make one complete pattern piece. I include very detailed instructions with this file, so you won't have any problems doing this.
The instructions include ways to make the Aardvark stationary legged or jointed, so you have your choice! You will need 1/2 yard of smooth fabric, depending on the width, 1/2 yard of shaggy fabric for the legs, 12mm or 15mm animal eyes with lock washers, a small piece of felt for the tongue, a small scrap of beige felt for the ear liners, about 16 ounces of polyester fiber fill, although you won't use all of it.
You receive the Aardvark/Anteater Stuffed Animal Pattern, and a picture like the first one here inserted into the instructions. Instructions are easy to follow.

Stuffed Animals and Plushies are all Final Sale Items. I try very hard to show the animals in their true colors, and in great lighting. The Stuffed Animals and Plushies are almost always 'one of a kind' and have been made to take pictures of to represent the patterns that I sell all of the time. I also try very hard to describe each animal as it is listed, and probably do a little too much describing, but I want you to get the best animal and to know how it is made and looks before you decide to purchase it. IF you should happen to purchase a stuffed animal or plushie from my shop that you are really not happy with, or that doesn't meet your expectations or my description, then we should 'talk' about it.
I will take some custom orders. I design/sew/sell one animal of each of the patterns I sell. Please ask about custom orders, I might not have sold the animal you are interested in yet, or even put it up for sale. Each Custom Order to you depends on whether I have the fabric on hand to make said item, or IF I have to order/purchase the fabric elsewhere.
