Item details

There are 9 various templates and right angle rulers, dating all the way through my mother's art career. She lived in NE Florida and was well regarded as an artist, painter, collage and multi-media artist, and an excellent drawing teacher. There will be three other offerings of her templates, as she collected so many, and there were duplicates, that I decided to break up the collection and "spread the wealth". These are by far the oldest of the four listings. One of the two curved templates is broken, from use in her drafting job. Sheehan, my mother's maiden name, is etched on the two curved templates -- she married in 1943.

These templates represent her career...I am going to list each of the templates below. Please be aware these are from an artist's studio, used, vintage, some unopened or still in their sleeves, and filled with the creative force her energy left with them! She started her career as a draftsman with Union Oil in Long Beach, CA, and never looked back. Her lettering and her collages were my favorites, as she could combine such interesting media to make startling statements in her art.

Returns & exchanges

Being so new to the site, I would stress that my descriptions and photographs are genuine and honest. That said, transactions in my former retail and cyberspace shops were always final. I am still finding my feet here, so I am willing to work with buyers to make all purchases pleasing to both parties. Thank you for seeking out Retro Broad's offerings.
