This building in Ye Olde Merrie London is rather unusual in historic London in that it appears to be 5 stories tall in parts. No - no - not a precursor to the Tower of London, but unusual as most of London was built on lowlands along the Thames. On the other hand, it may just be artistic license - we'll never know!
This is a photographic reproduction of a pen and India ink drawing that was hand done and watercolored by Wisconsin artist Max Fernekes in the mid 1930's. The image is approximately 4" x 4 1/2" and the card is 5 1/2" x 6 1/2" on 81 pound textured cardstock. (Not shown)
This very small picture is wonderfully suited as a greeting card or as a gift to yourself or others. It really looks great framed and a group is even better. The blank card comes with an envelope and a protective cellophane covering.
