This is a book of crochet instructions for making the following items: a rose including calyx and leaves, caterpillar, butterfly, basket with ruffle, small and large Pot of Daisies Doily, tulip, and hairpin lace stole embellished with daisies. The book is unused and I bought it new from the designer years ago for sale in my shop; it has been in storage.
Lady Alice was Alice Sophie Wallace, a crocheter who had a dream of publishing her own patterns. With the help of her son, she realized that dream! She published a total of 4 crochet pattern books, and I'm offering all of them for sale on Etsy.
Postage to US addresses is $3.75 first class or $5.60 priority mail. Insurance is optional, and uninsured orders are sent at the buyer's risk; USPS insurance rates are used. I am more than happy to combine and deeply discount postage. I also accept orders sent to foreign countries but check with me first for postage rates rates!
Please note: due to photocopying issues there are no returns on books or patterns. Thanks for your understanding.

Shipping & policies
I use the USPS exclusively. Shipping costs shown are for postage; any other services such as insurance or delivery confirmation are extra. Uninsured orders are sent at the buyer's own risk; I make the insurance optional because most buyers do not want to pay $1.80 insurance on a $3.00 book! I try to mail packages no later than the next week day, and if I plan to be out of the shop for more than 2 days I will put a notice on the shop page.
Payments may be with Paypal, personal or bank check, or money order. International orders are welcome; Paypal is preferred for international order, but a check or money order ON A US BANK is allowed if pre-approved. Louisiana residents will pay 8.5% sales tax.
Returns & exchanges
Since books can be copied and then returned (I found this out in my shop years ago), I do not allow returns on books unless they are defective. Since I personally page through each book before I send it out, this has never happened! Other items such as supplies are handled on an individual basis.
