Ganesh, Ganesha, or Ganapati, is the Hindu god of wisdom and remover of obstacles.

This gorgeous Ganesh charm is 24K gold plated bronze. It measures 20mm x 10mm x 2.5mm including the ring and is 40 micro inches of 24K gold plated over bronze with a fine layer of nickel in between to prevent migration of the two metals. In most cases, your item will be shipped within 48 hours. For custom pieces, please allow 7-10 days for shipment to go out from the time your payment clears. This is to allow for any ordering I may need to do, and time to create your unique piece.

Shipping upgrades for faster delivery in the U.S. are available during the checkout process. Items with upgraded shipping will ship before standard shipping items during the busy season.

I use USPS first class with online tracking and delivery confirmation for domestic orders. International orders are also shipped via USPS first class but do not include delivery confirmation or tracking. Any customs duties are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact me before ordering if you require a faster method of shipping or if you want your package insured. If your country is not listed in my shipping area, please contact me and I will check to see if shipping is available.

Before placing an order, please make sure the shipping address you have on file with Etsy and PayPal is current. Mismatches might result in shipping delays. I don't assume responsibility for orders shipped to an incorrectly supplied address.

Most items are not automatically insured.

International shipping: If your country is not listed, please send me your shipping information and I will check with the US post office to see if there are any merchandise restrictions and see how much shipping will cost. The buyer is responsible for any additional fees that may be charged at customs. In some cases, tracking ability stops once it leaves the US.

Please note that international orders may take up to 6 weeks or possibly more for delivery depending on how long the customs process takes. Once your order has been shipped I will only be able to tell you what the online tracking system says. Unfortunately I don't have any special access to find out when your package will arrive. Payments

Sales Tax-
Shining Light Jewelry is located in the beautiful state of California. Therefore, sales tax will be added to all orders shipped to CA addresses.

Orders shipping outside the U.S.: Please note that some countries may charge extra fees on items that are imported, for example, VAT. These fees will be your responsibility to pay before your package will be delivered. It is based on the value of your purchase and may be as much as 20% depending on your country's law. Please do not ask me to mark items as "gift" or at a lesser value to avoid any tax due, as this is illegal and I cannot risk the penalties to myself or my business. Thank you!

Returns & exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Additional return information
If a return is necessary, please contact me through the Etsy "Contact Seller" link within 3 days of receipt of item so we can make arrangements. Please do not return an item without contacting me first.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer and any shipping charges will not be refunded with the purchase price if we arrange for a return/refund unless I made a mistake. If there are any non-refundable fees to the seller through PayPal or Etsy this portion will not be refunded to the customer.

Bulk orders of more than eight of the same item are not returnable.

If an item needs to be returned for resizing there may be a $10 fee. I do my best to be very clear regarding size. I cannot take responsibility for incorrect sizing if I'm given incorrect measurements.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS: Effective immediately, there will be a 30% restocking fee on all international orders that are refused/returned to sender. To be clear, I will not refund the shipping charge and 30% of the purchase price will not be refunded on orders that are refused upon delivery.

Additional policies

Jewelry care-
I do not recommend wearing any of my handmade pieces in water. If cleaning is necessary, the jewelry should shine up nicely if you polish it with a clean, dry cloth (available in my shop). I recommend storing jewelry in an airtight container (such as a Ziploc bag) to slow the tarnishing of sterling silver and bronze. The hand dyed silk cord I use in some of my jewelry is not colorfast and may fade over time. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

All metals, including bronze, silver and gold, can react to beauty and cleaning products. Avoid contact as much as possible with perfumes, hairsprays, lotions and household cleaners.

BRONZE: Natural Bronze will oxidize over time, turning a darker, more muted color. Some people prefer this darker, aged color as it adds character to the metal. To maintain a shiny bright finish for as long a possible, store your bronze away from the air in a ziplock plastic bag, and keep it as dry as possible. Do not wear in the shower or store in a humid environment.

If you like a high shine, you may prefer using a commercial metal cleaner specifically formulated for bronze or brass. Follow the instructions on the cleaning product.
