Item details

Beige alpaca merino yarn worsted weight from Ancient Treasures Alpaca Ranch in Arvada, CO. Each skein is 2 ply worsted weight measuring approx 3 oz and 150 yards. The skeins contain 80% Alpaca and 20% Merino Wool. Spring Too Fibers in Kiowa, CO processed the fleeces into yarn.

Marlo's fleece was used to create this yarn. She is a huacaya alpaca. Huacaya (wha-KAI-ah) fleece is mostly hollow (for warmth), soft, dense, crimpy and gives a woolly appearance. They were first imported into the U.S. in 1983-84 and adapt to many different climates. There are 22 natural colors within the breed.

Perfect for any of your fall color creations including hats, gloves and winter scarves. Knits up very easily and works will for crocheting too. I used this yarn to create the brown alpaca hat on our site. One skein will make a hat or pair of gloves. 2 or more will create a warm scarf for the fall/winter season. We have more yarn in stock send convo for additional quantities. Finished product should be hand washed in cool water and air dried.

Shipping is by U.S.P.S First Class mail (usually 1 to 3 days) within 3 days of payment. Shipping outside of the US is via First Class International Mail. Overseas buyers are responsible for duty/customs fees, if any apply.
