This pattern includes two patterns - one for a hat knitted flat on US6 (4.00mm) needles, and the other for a hat knitted in the round on US6 (4.00mm) double-pointed needles. The pattern is for a PREEMIE hat in two sizes and now also includes a NEWBORN size as well. The yarn used is light worsted/double knitting (DK)/8 ply yarn with a gauge of 22 stitches and 28 rows over 4 inches (equals 5.5 stitches and 7 rows per inch).
The instructions for the following sizes are included in the pattern:
Circumference 9", Hat height 4"
Circumference 11", Hat height 4½"
Circumference 12¾”, Hat height 5½”
