Pattern Features:
The textured ribbed stitch pattern throughout has been written out with line-by-line instructions given, including buttonhole placement for girls and boys worked in seed stitch and full instructions for working the Lateral Braid featured at the bottom welt only along with a paneled hood worked in three sections; back with two side panels, then seamed.

Designer’s Note:
Worked flat ~ my preferred knitting technique using my bamboo straights

Materials:
Worsted / 10 ply (9 wpi) 185 - 200 yds

Gauge:
7 stitches and 6 rows = 1 inch in Stockinette stitch

Needle size:
US 2½ - 3.0 mm

Construction:
Worked from the bottom up in one piece to armholes, including button bands, then each section is worked individually..

Experience Level:
Advance beginner - Intermediate

My favourite 18 inch doll knitting patterns are from Debonair Designs. They're great! I've made this one and, despite being a relatively notice knitter, it went together easily.
