Item details

The ivory base has developed an antique crackle effect from the dots of a Double Helix silver laden glass. I've melted it down flat and then capped with slightly raised lenses of clear. You will love all the soft opal pastel colors. Each little window has a reflective core that makes them shimmer as you move them. . I used 1/16 mandrels. Size is approx 7x13mm. Silver spacers are not included in the listing.

Love these boro beads. Lots of depth and subtlety, very well made!

I've used these unique lampwork beads paired with cream-colored cloudy agate and small air blue opal Swarovski crystals to highlight the ethereal and luminscent colors in the lampwork adornments. Really beautiful and unique color combinations.

About photography:
I use daylight bulbs and a light tent set up. I often try to include a shot of the beads in my hand . This is to show the scale of the beads( though I am 6 ft. tall and have big hands!) This is also to show the true color against my skin so that you can tell I didn't Photoshop the color. All computer monitors may show color differently but I really strive to get accurate color. Examine your beads in bright light or outdoors. Photos are enlarged, I give measurements made with my digital calipers, I do use my macro setting, it allows me to get remarkable closeups of cat hair!
