Simple and complete pattern and instructions for making several variations of hair for a doll.
INCLUDING BOY HAIR STYLES!!!!!
Two techniques included...both crochet and non-crochet versions.
****For the crochet version. (seen on the purple, blonde, and brown haired dolls in the photos above)
A simple crochet toque variation represents infancy for a baby in the form of a little cute toque hat that can be stitched to the head to mimic a babies head of hair or a hat. The hat ( short hair ) is made with simple crochet and is very simple to do, as there are photos and detailed instructions.
If you want to transition the doll from a baby to a little girl, all you have to do is add hair to the toque. this is which is fully instructed in the tutorial, as well as variations on how to style the doll's hair.
****For the NON- crochet version (Seen on the orange haired doll and the doll in the second photo down from the top in the photos above.)
I have been told that this style of hair is very similar to that of Bamboletta style dolls.
If you are not comfortable crocheting, we also include a tutorial for stitching the yarn to the doll's head to create a full head of hair. A tutorial in which the hair is sewn to the head in sections and is completely well instructed.
Full color photos with complete measurements and step by step instructions in detail.
Tons of photos for complete ease of understanding.
Examples of the high quality and easy to understand type of tutorial that you can expect, can be found here... in my free tutorials on Adirondack Mama. I promise, the tutorial is as detailed as I can get it without sitting right next to you while you make. ;)

This pattern was very well written and fairly simple to understand. I was able to complete the doll hair, and my daughter is in love 😊 She's named her new doll Tigerlily, and is dragging her around everywhere. Thank you for helping me complete a treasure for both of us!
