A lovely little needle case with a beautiful design stitched in vintage Anchor embroidery thread on vintage fabric (both 50+ years old), depicting a lamb, lying in a field of buttercups, speedwell and dandelions, under a flowering cherry tree covered in pink blossom. In the sky are a small group of Rooks.
Stitches include among others satin stitch, french knots, turkey work and stem stitch.
Lined with pink and green felt and has 4 pages...2 pink and 2 green
Can be made with stronger colour thread and felt or soft pastels according to materials available. Variations are shown and I will always try to accommodate your preference.
The case is held secure by a pink and green hand-twisted cord and the whole thing is finished with a little tassel.
