One of three books offered this week as presents for the young or the young-at-heart. The books are from a box I inherited when I cleared out my parents' closets. This one, and two origami book are up for being sent to new homes!
This 1983 book created by Osa Brown is full of fun for any age, but especially for a young person with artistic leanings - a great activity book for the holidays. The front cover says: "Crafts, models, toys, games, puzzles, and mazes inspired by treasures in the museum's collection."
Read about, then assemble:
a model of the Egyptian temple of Dendur a Japanese carp kite a colonial American board game a French jumbpin jack an ancient Japanese panpipe - with music to play a cat mask based on a Nathaniel Currier lithograph a "stained glass" window decoration a loom for weaving a colorful wall hanging a pasta mosaic based on a Roman mosaic from 500 BC plus moving pictures, mystey objects, riddles, word searches, mazes, and much more.

It is a paperback book and is in very good shape, as it was never out of the closet! I also have origami instruction books as well as origami papers listed, so please take a look and perhaps make a combined purchase for an artist on your list!

Returns & exchanges
Being so new to the site, I would stress that my descriptions and photographs are genuine and honest. That said, transactions in my former retail and cyberspace shops were always final. I am still finding my feet here, so I am willing to work with buyers to make all purchases pleasing to both parties. Thank you for seeking out Retro Broad's offerings.
