The jumper has a full gathered, knee length skirt sewn to a waistband made with 2 bias and one grain cut pieces. There is a bias cut gingham trim just above the hem line. Two shoulder straps cross in the back and secure to the front waistband with hook and loop. You could use buttons and buttonholes or snaps. There are 2 small white buttons on the straps. The back closes with hook and loop fastener.
The white cotton blouse has a high round collar and elbow length puffed sleeves. The original blouse has tight fitting sleeve bands. This pattern has the same cut, but there is hook and loop on the sleeve bands so the band can open wide enough to slide over the doll's hand.
The original blouse has delft blue colored rick rack trim. I used DMC floss and embroidered the zig zag pattern onto the collar and sleeve bands as I could not find the correct color in the proper size. Many other designs simply omit the trim.
The last piece of this pattern is a white cotton, two tier slip. It gathers at the waist with elastic. White lace trim is optional around the hem.
Pattern prints on 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper.
