This pattern instructs you on how to make the Get Smitten™ Head Rush crocheted headband – perfect for keeping your ears snug & warm on a chilly day!

Quick and easy to make, this is an ideal advanced beginner project, producing a stylish end result that you can be wearing in just a couple of hours. My crochet students love this pattern and for many of them it was their first wearable piece of crochet.

The Head Rush crochet headband makes a great stocking filler for Christmas, easy for kids to make for their classmates, the perfect accessory for your winter skiing holiday or just for chucking snowballs around in the garden!

This listing is for the pdf pattern with full instructions on how to crochet your Head Rush headband. The pattern will be available for download as soon as your payment is confirmed so that you can get started straight away

**Please note - this pattern is written in British/UK crochet terms **

You will need:

* Size 6mm / US 10 J crochet hook

* 50g ball of chunky weight yarn suitable for above sized hook

* Headband measures 55cm diameter & fits an average sized female adult head as the design allows for some ‘give’

This is an original design by me for Get Smitten, please respect intellectual copyright and do not resell, reproduce or distribute without my consent

Happy hooking!

FAQs

What is a fat quarter, I hear you cry?! It is a term widely used in the patchwork and crafting world that denotes a quarter of a meter of fabric. In order to give a more useful area to work with, they take a meter of fabric and quarter it by length and width so that you have a 'fat' quarter rather than a long one They are 18 x 22" or 45 x 55cm

If you require pieces of vintage fabric larger than a fat quarter, please message me with you requirements. I have enough in stock I am happy to oblige. My fabrics are pre-loved sheeting and so are not available by the meter or yard as with traditional fabrics - please let me know your desired size and will measure the amount I have left in stock If you purchase multiples of one fabric, I will always try to provide it as one cut piece wherever possible. I will message you before dispatching your order if this is not possible

This pattern was easy to follow. The instructions were written for both US and UK which I was very pleased with. The finished article looks good.
