Dress #1 is a white cotton or muslin dance gown. The bodice has a pleated inset at the bust that has a lace trim along the top. The neckline is square at the shoulders in both the front and back. It is bordered with lace from the waistline along each side of the inset and around the neck. The sleeves are elbow length and trimmed with lace. The empire waist skirt gathers fully in the back and in the front from the inset to the side seams. The skirt has a roll hem and lace trim. Options include buttons on the back bodice and lace around the waistline.

Dress #2 has a diamond shaped sculpted neckline in the front and a rounded back. The original dress was a rust colored cotton with a lace overlay on the bodice. Lace is optional, but shown in the cover photo. The front bodice is decorated with a satin bow. The back bodice features two patterns pieces with an upper bodice and a lower side bodice. Short length sleeves gather at the shoulders and along the lace covered sleeve band. The dress skirt is one solid piece of fabric that has 3 horizontal pleats below the knee area. The skirt lays flat at the front bodice and gathers across the back. The skirt finishes with a roll hem. Options include ribbon bordering the neckline and waistline. Add a bow to the center back waist.

Dress #3 is patterned after one worn by Mary Bennet and has a higher round cut neckline. There are short cap sleeves that can be trimmed with lace. The empire style dress skirt gathers in the same manner as Dress #1. The dress is accompanied with a white linen, cotton or muslin hip length Chemise. It has full length sleeves, a bias collar band and is decorated on the front with ribbon and lace. Options for this dress include ribbon around the waist, a bow in the back and buttons.

All dresses close in the back with hook and loop fastener but snaps, snap tape or buttonholes and buttons can be substituted. All bodices are fully lined.
