Macbeth (Sampler) - Original Cross Stitch Chart | Inspired by William Shakespeare
This is a digital file
(This listing is for a downloadable cross stitch chart in PDF format, which you will need to download and print prior to use. It is not for a finished project of any type, nor does it include any of the other supplies - such as fabric, floss, and needle – that you will need to stitch the design.)
Inspired by one of my favorite Shakespearean tragedies, this unique “Macbeth” sampler features a traditional alphabet accented with a flaming cauldron, a pair of crowns, the year 1623 (when Macbeth first appeared in print of part of famed First Folio), and - of course - the text of the most famous couplet in the play.
Measuring 65 stitches wide by 97 stitches high, this sampler would make a unique accent for your home, classroom, or office, or a wonderful gift for a special thespian or Bardolator (a.k.a. lover of the Bard).
Because of the specialty stitches dividing bands, which are comprised of upright cross stitches, this design is not recommended for use with aida cloth (unless, of course, you replace the the specialty stitches with standard cross stitches)
The color image above shows how the design would look - on both natural and antique white linen – using the fabric and floss specified in the pattern.
Your chart will be available for download in PDF format immediately after your payment is processed.
