Item details

This groovy flower power needlepoint pattern is perfect for a DIY project.

Fix up those old directors chairs that are getting dirty! An inexpensive way to be fabulous!

These vintage 1970's instructions give you two basic methods of making covers.

-Pop-on cover
This type of cover simply fits over the original back and seat sections and is easily removed for cleaning purposes.

Materials:
Canvas with 10 double threads to the inch
Tapestry yarns
Sateen lining
Snap fastener tape for attaching cover
Plastic foam 1" inch thick (optional)

-Slip cover
This type of cover has tube openings at each side of the back section to slip over the back supports, and also at each side of the seat section to slide on rods which are held in place by the structure of the chair. This cover replaces the original back and seat covers on the chair.
