The shoe pattern calls for Sherpa Suede. Sherpa is a man made fiber that looks like sheeps wool. Sherpa suede has suede on one side and wool on the other side. Sherpa is inexpensive, available at most fabric stores and also on Etsy in shops like this one:
It takes less than 1/3 yard to make a pair of child size shoes.
This pattern has step by step instructions with plenty of pictures. Patterns are computer drafted for exact fit. The pattern comes in women's sizes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11.

I enjoyed the ease of the pattern and to have some comfy footwear in no time. I did find the pattern to be a little narrow for my foot so I'd adjust that. I do have wide feet though. It still covered my entire sole but I would prefer it higher along the sides of my feet.

So easy to make, and very comfortable slippers. I've never sewn something like this before, but I had no trouble following the pattern and instructions. Thank you!
