THIS LISTING IS FOR A PDF OF A PATTERN ONLY
YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THIS COWL

This simple stitch pattern gives this cowl tons of texture and visual interest. It works up quickly and is fastened at one edge with a 1.5” reclaimed wooden button, though any button will do!

I have included two variations of this pattern, one for a worsted weight yarn and one with a super bulky yarn. We all need options!

A beginner's understanding of the following stitches is necessary:
Slip stitch
Single crochet
Double crochet

Finished Measurements:
Length 26”, Width 9”.

I have also included the use of a pretty inexpensive yarn you can find in any Michael's store. No fancy-schmancy pricey yarns are needed for this project, but I will tell you that if you ever have the opportunity to splurge on some hand spun yarns, please do so. They are ALWAYS worth it, especially when you want to treat yourself, or give a special gift.

I love this cowl and make it all the time. I have carefully reviewed this pattern, but if you see any errors feel free to let me know and I will revise. To read this PDF pattern you will need Adobe Reader, please visit www.adobe.com for a free download.

I am always around for any question (and chatting!) so feel free to convo me if you need help. We all need a little help sometimes. I also encourage you to watch crochet videos on You Tube. I've learned so much from all the talented people out there.

This is a wonderful pattern! I made one for my step-daughter for Christmas and then made myself one and one for a friend for her birthday. It is easy to crochet and lays beautifully inside a jacket or coat. I have found nice big buttons at Jo-Ann's and they make a great focal point. Thanks so much for a fabulous design!
