Item details

(This listing is for a digital pattern only. The finished ponies in the images are examples created from this pattern. :)

This detailed pattern will guide you through the steps of sewing adorable beanie ponies. When finished they're about 10 inches long and about 6 inches tall. The pattern is specially sized to fit on your shoulder and includes special pieces and instructions to attach the beanie to your clothing using magnets.

The pattern includes:

        * pattern pieces for:
                - mare head pattern
                - stallion head pattern
                - beanie body pattern
                - unicorn horn pattern
                - patterns for three styles of wings (including bat wings!)
                - patterns for three mane and tail sets
                - patterns for magnet holders
        * step by step instructions on sewing your pony
        * several pages of tips and tricks for sewing beautiful plushies
        * 42 detailed illustrations
        * a PDF copy of all the printed pattern materials sent to you

For one pony you will need: 1/4 yard of fabric for the body / head and 1/4 yard of fabric for the mane / tail. I've tested the pattern with quilting cotton and cotton flannel. I don't usually sew with minky or fleece, but my testers tell me it works just fine with most of my patterns. :)

I designed the pattern to use a sewing machine, with a little bit of hand finishing. If you want to sew them all by hand, you can do that too.

This listing is for a digital (PDF) copy of the pattern. If you want more than one of the patterns there are listings in my shop for multiple digital patterns together at a cheaper price.

Etsy now has an automated way to send digital files to you! Once you pay Etsy should give you access to the pattern PDFs through your "purchases" page. If you have any problems with the system please send me a convo and we'll figure out what's going on. In the worst case I can always send the files to your email the way I used to. :)

If you'd like to see more pictures of ponies created from this pattern check out my deviantART gallery:
You can also see a gallery of awesome ponies made by other people (using all the patterns I sell) here:

You can make as many ponies as you want using this pattern and use them for any purpose, personal or commercial. If you sell your ponies, please mention that my pattern was used. ;)

Average review
I love this pattern! I wasn't sure at first, but it is very well written and easy to do. I just finished my first 'practice' pony and she turned out so much better then expected. I can't wait to make more and get a few more of her patterns. I'm going to start plush #2 today. Thanks so much!! Wish I could post a photo!!

Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed. Here's how.

Once you purchase an item please send payment within 3 days. If something unexpected happens to delay your payment please convo me and let me know.

Returns & exchanges

I am sorry that I can't offer refunds or exchanges. If you have a problem or are unhappy with a transaction, please contact me and I'll do my best to help.

Additional policies

My digital patterns are designed to be printed on US Letter sized paper (8.5 by 11 inches) and have wide enough margins that they can also be printed on A4 paper as long as your printer can handle 9.5 mm margins on the sides.

Detailed printing instructions are included with the patterns. I print mine on my normal home printer. If you don't own a printer you should be able to print them at most standard print shops like Kinkos or Office Max's print center. If you have problems, send me a convo, I'm always happy to help.

I've converted most of my listings Etsy's automatic digital file delivery (you get your files immediately after you pay! :), but unfortunately this feature doesn't work with some of the combination packages. If you order a combination package of patterns that includes selecting which patterns you want I'll be emailing them to the email that you list in your Etsy profile. If you want them sent to a different email please include a note during checkout and let me know where to send them. :)
