Haworthia turgida, native to Cape Province, South Africa, forms small rosettes with glassy green leaves.Becomes reddish in strong light. Offsets freely to form small clusters quickly. Excellent for windowsill culture. Haworthias are winter growers and are dormant in the hottest summer months. Prefer filtered, bright light. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Protect from frost.
