This roving is a fluffy type of wool which is wonderfully soft and is a dream to spin. All our yarns are hand-dyed... this one is a cool, light green... just the color of limeade. These fibers come from my flock of registered Cheviots. The weight of each package is approximately 1/4 oz. All of our wool is grown on our PA Century Farm which has been in my family for over 100 years. The farm is also on the National Register of Historic Places. We are committed to raising the more unusual livestock, rather than following the crowd and raising the big commercial sheep with yucky wool and tasteless meat. We hope you will support us in our mission. For more information about rare and heritage breeds, please visit the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy at www.albc-usa.org and thanks for looking at our little 'shop'.
Arrived quickly and high quality, can't wait to spin!

I love this wool for needle felting. It's very coarse with a lot of "body" ...so it felts up fast! It mixes well with other wools, and fibers like ultra smooth bamboo roving. The colors are delicious, and I love this unusual yarn in my fiber stash.
The seller is very communicative ! Wonderful Etsy experience!

This wool came in a Ziploc baggie. The wool is about 1/2 of the entire baggie. It's more of a yellow-green than just light green.
