Item details

These buttons can be used for teddy bear eyes, making jewelry, wedding dress and veil ornaments, etc. These are vintage mother of pearl shoe buttons. One gross (the brown ones) are not mother of pearl but still vintage and are hard to describe, the fabric is similar to a plastic material, but pretty and the box calls has the name "Dandy Buttons".

It is uncertain who manufactured these buttons, but they were distributed by Griess, Pfleger and Company from Cincinnati, Ohio. The diameter of these buttons vary in size. See listing below They are from the Victorian (1880 - 1900) Era and have a metal shank.
