Here are 12 antique advertisements culled from the December 1915 issue of St. Nicholas Magazine. The December issue is chock full of gift ideas for boys and girls and here are a dozen good suggestions!
Tents, compasses, airships, fishing rods, doll blankets, toy dogs, bicycles, water wings--anything and everything a turn-of-the-century boy or girl could ask Santa for!
The ads range in size from approximately 1" x 2" to 4" x 2-3/4" The longest two are about 5-1/8" long. These are actual ads from an antique magazine, not photocopies or prints. You're getting the real thing!
I am happy to ship outside the U.S. Send me a convo and I'll figure out the shipping costs for you.
----- **If there's a certain advertisement or type of advertisement you're looking for from the early 1900s, I'd be happy to check my antique St. Nicholas magazines for you. These magazines were geared toward children of all ages--and their mothers and fathers, who probably read them, too. There are ALL kinds of ads, from toys to books to soap to peanut butter to medicines to soup to...well, you get the idea. Drop me a convo with your request and I'll see what I can do!
I ship every day that the post office is open and weather permits.
I am happy to ship internationally, but because postage costs and customs regulations vary widely, I would ask you to contact me by convo for a shipping quote so that I can give you an exact shipping cost.
I estimate shipping costs as closely as I can, but if the difference between what I charge and what it actually costs to ship your item(s) is more than a dollar, I will refund the overcharge.
Please pay when placing your order, unless we have made other arrangements.
