I am a weaver by profession and have produced handwoven stoles, scarves, blankets and yardage for many years. I have 9 floor looms in my studio and I work on a full-time basis at this craft. I have named all of my looms and the handwoven fabric that comes from each loom has unique characteristics that are very different from each other.
This-N-Thats are smaller pieces of handwoven cloth that I have produced on these looms. A This-N-That could be fabric left over after a sale, could be an experiment with a new pattern or design or could be a test of a new thread or yarn prior to producing yardage of these fibers. People like to make purses, dish towels for the kitchen, table runners, pillow covers, hand towels for the bath, neck scarves or many other possibilities with my This-N-Thats. They can be used in combination with commercial fabric to make a vest or This-N-That collar/cuffs/pockets for a jacket.
All of my This-N-Thats have been put through machine washing and machine drying to bring about maximum shrinkage. All of them come with content and care instructions attached, so you will feel confident in caring for your original creation.
Any inquiries about this This-N-That can be directed to Cat's Item #TNT258 , and thank you for your interest.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Please NOTE: All This-N-Thats are pieces of unfinished handwoven fabric. Most often the edges have been zig-zag sewn and the selvedges are totally unfinished. I will always try to have one photo that shows these edges. This-N-Thats are created with the intent of sewing them into something, or, in the example of a table runner, hemming them so all edges are nice and neat.
The This-N-That shown above is from Stanley. The pattern is a 12-Harness Bronson Lace that I wrote myself and I call this piece . The fiber content of this piece is a delightful blend of cotton, rayon, nylon and Lurex and the measurements are 14“ wide and 36“long from selvedge to selvedge.
I ship via the United States Postal Service. This is my only option, since I live in a small Village in a remote area. The buyer will pay for packaging and shipping costs. I will insure each package at my (seller's) cost. I will communicate when I have shipped the package and, please confirm having received your package, so we can together track it's progress and success in arrival.
I prefer PayPal, but can also take money order or personal check. I have also joined the Etsy program called direct checkout that allows payment by credit card without going through PayPal. If it is agreed that I will accept your personal check, I will not ship until your check has cleared my bank. This takes patience on your (the buyer's) part, but I'm trying to be flexible in payment methods.

Non-domestic orders can only be paid by PayPal unless otherwise agreed upon via prior communication between the buyer and the seller. All customs charges/import duties will be paid by the buyer.
