Dear stitchers, I'm so happy to publish this little pattern, so close to my heart... I love it... *.*
It's a blue birdie that flied to you from the enchanted wood, where it was singing with Briar Rose :)
The little bird, infact, is inspired to "Sleeping Beauty" fairytale and also to the wonderful classic ballet "Bluebird Variation", that comes from "Sleeping Beauty" Ballet.
The cushion is embellished by a tiny silver key...
Infact, it is said that the birds singing opens some secret doors that lead to happiness...
And maybe this is the reason why in many fairy tales birds help the Maiden to find a key, with which she can open doors and know the magical world of fairies...
In these photos you can see the lovely and wonderful pottery blue birds *.* they are a gift that I made to myself for my birthday and I ordered them to a pottery artist that I love soooo much! If you like them you can order them to her directly: http://www.etsy.com/shop/redhotpottery
The tiny key also come from a lovely Etsy shop, full of fantastic charms! You can find the little keys of my pattern here: Nicole de Bruin - Key: http://www.etsystudio.com/listing/80639432/16-key-charms-double-sided-155-x-85mm?
