Item details

This listing is for 3.7 ounces of hand-dyed, springy-curly Wensleydale locks in Victorian inspired colors.
This sheep's fiber is long, very silky and lustrous, with tons of lovely curls.

Average staple length is 12-14".

Hand-dyed in a single dyepot in rich, deep violet, and kelly greens- all hand-dyed with colorfast professional grade dyes.

Sheep like to play in the grass, and due to the nature of their locks (and despite my best efforts to clean them well), a very small amount of VM may be trapped inside, but will fall out during spinning.

These locks are next to skin soft, and just beautiful. Amazingly pleasurable to spin, or can be used in doll-making, blending, wet felting, needle felting, or any other project you might dream up.

3.7 ounces.

Items will be shipped the day after payment clears via USPS Priority in the US, and First Class everywhere else.

Additional policies

I love doing custom orders, so if you see something you like, but want another color, quantity, etc., just let me know!
I aim to please, and use the best quality materials.

Buyers with sensitivities to certain scents-please let me know. I process all of my yarn and handmade items using a special wool softener (that smells yummy), but I can use a different, unscented product if you are scent-sitive.

Items currently for sale are handmade by me, as well as my friends, Faith Wight, and Crafty Scientist.

Also, CT residents are automatically billed 6% sales tax. Thanks for understanding!
