When a custom design order is received and payment is processed I send a design questionnaire to gather some info for your design. Once I have the answers to the questionnaire I create a design sample and send it to you for review through an Etsy message.

FAQs

A revision is a change to an initially presented design sample. It is a change of less than 1/4 of the design and is meant to be a slight modification (example: a font change or color change). A new design layout or design concept is not considered a revision. If a new design concept is required it is an additional charge. Design orders include a few complimentary revisions (see product listing for this info). If additional revisions are needed they can be purchased.

When a custom design order is received I send a design questionnaire to you through an Etsy message (or email) to to get a general idea of what you're looking for (images, colors, fonts etc..). When I have your completed questionnaire and all of your information (content, photos, logo etc.) your project is added to the schedule and a sample is created and sent to you for review within the time frame mentioned in our communication. When your design is approved your files are emailed to you.

The current design wait for orders varies. This info can generally be found on my shop banner: www.bearsgraphicdesign.etsy.com to the right or within an item listing (under "Shipping"). Additional time is needed to process design revisions. If you are in need of a rush order please contact me with your project info for availability and pricing. Please note: Design orders are processed in the order they are received. The design wait is not the amount of time spent on a single clients design. It is the waiting period between the time I receive your order (with completed design questionnaire and necessary files) and when I reach your project on the design schedule.

►Printing: Processing time is 3-7 business days* before print orders ship with UPS. When your order ships a notification is emailed to you from Etsy to the email address listed on your account with tracking information. Need faster shipping? Please contact me with your address for a quote. ►Shipping: Free UPS SurePost Shipping applies to physical addresses within the contiguous 48 US states only. We also ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico at an additional charge. ►Design Orders: upon approval your digital files will be emailed to the address listed on your Etsy account. Design orders do not include any physical/printed items. Please make sure the email address listed on your account is up to date.

►Print Orders: please allow 3-7 business days to process your print order before it ships. All U.S printing orders include Free UPS SurePost* shipping to the address listed on your Etsy account. Shipping takes approximately 3-6 business days** to arrive depending on your location. Orders shipped outside of the 48 U.S States can take approximately 10-15 business days to arrive. When your order ships you will receive an email notification from Etsy with tracking information.

*Free UPS SurePost Shipping applies to physical addresses within the contiguous 48 U.S states only. We also ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico (at an additional charge). Please contact me with your shipping address for a quote. Sorry we cannot ship to P.O Boxes, internationally or using other shipping companies.

While the majority of packages do arrive on time, we do not have control over packages once they have shipped. For this reason we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.

PLEASE NOTE: We only charge our customers for shipping fees. All international customers (outside the 48 contiguous U.S states) are responsible for paying any customs fees (i.e.: taxes, duties, etc.) to UPS upon receiving the order.

Payment is required in full at the time of purchase. PayPal e-checks take an additional week to clear before your project is added to the design schedule.

Design Orders:

Design orders are non-refundable* if work has started on your project. When you purchase a design item you are paying not only for the item, but also for the designers many years of experience, time, research, creativity and a spot on the design schedule.

*Please contact me as soon as possible to see if work has started on your design project. If work has not started an order can be cancelled and a refund can be issued minus a 25% cancellation fee.

Please note: any design order cancellation that is not confirmed in writing within 5 days of your design order date will be liable for the full purchase price (a refund will not be given). If you go MIA for more than 30 business days you will be subject to a rescheduling fee of 25%.

Print Orders:

Print orders cannot be cancelled* once they have gone into the production phase. We offer a quick printing turnaround time so there is not much wiggle room for order cancellations.

*Please contact me as soon as possible to see if your order has gone into production. If production has not started an order can be cancelled and a refund can be issued minus a 25% cancellation fee.

**We are not responsible for errors once files are approved for print. Please take a moment to proofread and make sure your design info is correct and your text is large enough to read before sending a final print approval for your files.**

A .PDF print quality file is always emailed to you for a final print approval and address verification before being placed in line to print. This is so we can avoid printing files with errors. Please double check your final file and your shipping address before sending final print approval. PDF files can be viewed at 100% (actual size) zoom for an accurate representation of the text sizes. You can also print out a test page to make sure the design and text sizes are exactly what you want.

**Please note that due to the differences in computer monitor and device color settings (RGB Colors) vs that of printed ink colors (CMYK Colors) your printed colors may vary from the view on your computer monitor. This is completely normal and to be expected**

We offer full-color printing (CMYK), for this reason we cannot print every color available especially fluorescent colors you see on a computer screen. As with most printers we do not offer color matching; however, we make every effort to print your product as close to the file colors as possible (within 2 shades).

**We will not be held responsible for illegal use of images. You must have rights to the files or images submitted to us for use in your design project.**

Any problems with your print order? Please contact us with as much info as possible and a photo showing the issue. We will reply within 2 business days with more info and a solution. In some cases we will need you to send us some of the printed product so we can properly assess the issue.

100% customer satisfaction is my goal. In the rare case that you are not satisfied I will do everything possible to fix it.

What is the best way to get in touch with you?

As an online business and graphic designer I prefer to communicate via e-mail or through Etsy conversation. This allows me to maintain an accurate record of what was discussed and gives me documentation to refer back to while I am working on your lovely design. This also helps to keep my design costs lower as I don't have to hire an answering service.
