Item details

Fountain pen Classique handmade in solid silver 925 and adorned with barley grain guillochè pattern realized with original antique machines (Parker, 1930). It is its classic refined design and high Italian craftsmenship that distinguishes this sterling silver fountain pen.

Our clients are assured to buy truly precious writing instruments as our company belongs to the Italian silversmith guild, which complies with both compulsory Italian and European law. This compliance is verified by marking each writing instrument with a rhombus shaped stamp encasing the hallmark “*AO 28”, our guild symbol and oval stamp "925". These stamps insure each customer that we are using solid silver 925.

Our fountain pens are updated with double-use refilling system - both converter or cartridges can be put. The pen is delivered with pumping converter inside and a set of 6 cartridges for gift that further can be bought in stationary shops all over the world.

The fountain pen is enhanced wtih a rhodium-plated steel nib, Medium size. Other (Fine, Extra Fine, Broad and very Broad) nib sizes are available on request without any charge. Also on spesial request with extra charges we can upgrade the pen with solid gold 18 kt nibs ("F", "M", "B" and stub/calligraphic nibs) both in yellow and white gold 18 kt.

Available in rollerball or ballpoint pen version. The pen can also be engraved with a name or a short message, see more details and costs here: https://www.etsystudio.com/listing/204661448/engraving-pen-with-name-or-message?

We ship the fountain pen encased in the made-in-Italy pen gift box with the authentic origin certificate. Lifelong technical assistance is guaranteed.

Average shipping time is 10-14 days.

FAQs

Yes! You are welcome with your request about personalizing your pen. Please place your order for customization here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/PensItaly?ref=hdr_shop_menu§ion_id=16073758

We will be happy to wrap your pen with florentine gift paper! Still be sure every pen comes in an elegant made-in-Italy gift box!

We work with wholesale orders.

You often ask us how to take care of solid wood pens we'd like to suggest you using natural beeswax paste. Beeswax paste provides an additional layer of protection on your pen wood surface, nourishing your pen and helping to protect against dryness, especially perfect for absorbent woods like oak. It is very easy to apply, buff and maintain from time to time when your pen barrel gets drier or colourless, since it is quite usual when you use your favourite pen every day. The pen is living when it writes well!

To remove the natural tarnish from solid silver 925 just take a pinch of baking soda and a piece of slightly wet cotton cloth, polish gently the silver surface. For gold-plated and silver-plated fittings please use only a cotton cloth without baking soda. Also you can buy special cleaning cloth for silverware here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/PensItaly?ref=hdr_shop_menu§ion_id=20415830
