Smooth, snag free stitch markers with two adjustable loops and a rainbow selection of eye-catching beads. Each marker fits a wide range of needles.
The markers will arrive with two equal loops but they can be adjusted as desired. The smallest possible loop each marker can make will fit a US#0 (2mm) needle while the other side will expand depending on the size. While the largest size will fit the widest range of needles, it can be uncomfortable working with a very long marker on very small needles, so I am offering a range.
SIZE ==== both loops will fit ==== max. loop size ==== approximate total length XS-S ==== US#4 (3.5mm) ===== US#7 (4.5mm) ==== ~25mm long S-M ===== US#8 (5mm) ====== US#11 (8mm) ===== ~28mm long L-XL ==== US#10.5 (6.5mm) === US#17 (12mm) === ~35mm long
Customize a set of SIX markers in any combination of the available colors, sizes, and finding colors. Please put all the specific details in the note to seller when you check out.
The steel beading wire is sheathed in a flexible coating of nylon and every marker is tested to make sure it works smoothly.
To enlarge one loop (and make the other loop smaller), insert the tip of a yarn needle or a knitting needle into the loop to apply pressure while holding onto the beads in the middle. Keep the wire straight and gently pull the loop larger until they are both the desired size. The wire is partially fixed so please avoid yanking or tugging or you can damage the marker; a gentle pull should be enough. Be sure not to make the small side too small or it can be difficult to enlarge that side again and may leave a kink in the wire.
WIRE: Black Pearl White * Choose a wire color that will contrast well against your yarn. The wire is so thin that it can be difficult to see against a similarly colored background, especially in poor lighting.
CRIMP: (see second picture for the colors; the two crimps anchor the central bead) Gold finish (shiny) Antiqued gold finish (matte) Silver finish (shiny) Antiqued silver finish (matte) **[Copper finish (shiny) currently unavailable]** Gunmetal finish (shiny)
BEAD: (see last picture) Cobalt Blue crystal "flying saucer" shape (the same size bead is used for all sizes) * (The following are Czech Glass) Amethyst Purple Cobalt Blue Light Blue Teal Emerald Green Lemon Yellow Honey Yellow Orange (the smaller beads are dark orange) Ruby Red Garnet Red Additionally, any of the stone beads from my Widget stitch markers may be used as well. VERY IMPORTANT: Please let me know what combination of markers you would like when you order, specifically Size, Wire Color, Crimp Color, and Bead for EACH marker. Please include this information in the Note to Seller when you check out and feel free to ask any questions if you need help deciding.
I'm happy to provide more information and to help you choose the perfect combination of beads. Or, if you would prefer that I surprise you, just let me know. Some buyers ask that I pick beads for them based on a favorite color or theme or to completely surprise them and I'm happy to oblige.
Any orders without the necessary size/wire/bead information will receive a follow-up convo and the order may be canceled after 48 hours if there's no response to my convo.
Each set will be made to order and are typically shipped the next business day.

Very happy with my purchase. These tiger eye and gold stitch markers add a little touch of elegance to my work, and I'm a lot less likely to drop the markers now that I can fit them to each set of needles.
