These ribbons are made from recycled silk.
The silk is washed and cut into long strips of ribbon and stitched together to form one length.
This trim is overlocked on both sides.
The combined total length of ribbon is approximately 12-14 yards
You receive 4 skeins of about 3-3.5 yards each and about 1-1.3 inch wide.
It can be used for decorating,gift packaging, knitting and crochet, felting, weaving, quilting, mixed media, artwork,and jewellery making.
It is important to remember that our silk range is made with recycled hand-dyed vintage silk and has unique colour variations and irregular weaves that is characteristic of natural and used fibres. It can have spots, blemishes, small holes or other signs of wear.
Those irregularities cannot be deemed as faulty bur rather seen as adding character.

We use stock pictures and therefore the color or print can be slightly different than the picture.
Each color is cut out of the same sari, but it could be a different part of the sari.
We do our best to catch the vibrancy of the colors, but that is not always easy, and the colors can look different on individual monitors.
In general the colors are mostly a bit darker, richer and more vibrant than we can show on the picture.
Some colours might leech color a bit.
Hand dyed silk is difficult to make colour fast, it could give some colour with the first few washes.

Shipping & policies
We ship from Australia, international orders can take up to 25 BUSINESS DAYS from the date of shipping to arrive and are not trackable, unless requested on checkout. Mostly they arrive within 3 weeks, but it can take longer due to postal and customs services. Unfortunately that is beyond our control.
We send our orders by Regular Airmail.
If you want tracking or express post, please let us know when you place the order and we will send you a quote.
It is extremely rare that a parcel gets lost. However, we cannot accept responsibility for parcels that get damaged, delayed or lost in the post, if you want to be sure, please send registered.

We will reimburse you for any product delivered to you that is faulty or is in damaged condition. If you wish to return a faulty or damaged product, you must notify us asap.
If we are unable at the time of return, to replace or exchange returned goods, we will reimburse you for the amount initially debited for your purchase, including packaging and postage charges. However, items have to be returned to us within 10 days within Australia and 30 days from overseas from the date we dispatched them to you. Refund/ exchange will happen once we have received the goods.

If a customer purchases an item that they want to return, for whatever reason, we encourage them to contact us to arrange an exchange. Unfortunately, this will attract another postage charge for you and no refund is given for postage. However we are happy to exchange the item for you, as your satisfaction is important to us.
Contact must be made within 5 working days of receipt of your order. Exchanges will be given if the item is unused, with all the packaging and labels intact. A refund is given after we received the package and it is in the same condition as we send it. We cannot accept returns unless these conditions are met.
